Jonathan Hoggett

Jonathan spent 16 years in City and West End firms, advising private and public sector pension funds, insurance companies, developers, investors and other landowners. Between 1991 and 1994 he advised the former Federal Government of Czechoslovakia on reforming land law and environmental law. He then moved to Devon with his family, since when he was, until April 2017, a partner with one of the South West’s pre-eminent law firms, advising on the development of land for mineral extraction, landfill, residential and commercial purposes. He has now joined one of his former client companies as a director and has also founded Eminence Grise Limited.

Jonathan now advises on:

  • strategic land promotion, including site assembly, promotion and option agreements and outright sale
  • property investment
  • strategic issues relating to land ownership or occupation
